How To Use COPIC MarkersAlways use good paper with a smooth and tight surface. They make colors appear brighter and use less ink in the process. A rough paper will not only absorb too much ink but may also bleed along the edge of the line. The Alcohol-Based inks can be blended and layered unlike water based markers. Copic Markers are waterproof and will not wash away. Alcohol Inks are permanent on many surfaces like paper, leather, wood, fabrics, plastic, faux fur, and more. On glossy surfaces, such as glazed ceramics and glass the ink can be scratched off, so use a sealant to protect the surface. Make sure that the sealant does not contain alcohol, ethanol, or any other form of alcohol as these will ruin your coloring. |
