PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS & SUPPLIES:

Anna Griffin Rose Flourish Punched Card

Anna Griffin's elegance comes through in this layered card with punched border and soft muted colors.

Steps:

1. Cut and fold a piece of Sand Cardstockinto an A-2 size (1/2 sheet of 8.5 x 11" cardstock folded in half).

2. Cut a piece of Moss Cardstockslightly smaller than the front of your card. Stamp Climbing Rose Backgroundin Juniper Adirondack Pigment Inkand set aside.

3. Cut a piece of Rosewood cardstockslightly smaller than the Moss and punch with Flourish Puncharound all edges as shown. ** Hint ** Turn punch upside down when punching to see where your punched shape will be placed.

4. On a piece of Sand Cardstock, stamp Rose Motifin Juniper Adirondack Pigment Ink. Trim leaving 1/8" around image to create your center panel.

5. Stamp Climing Roseonto Rosewood cardstock with Shell PinkAdirondack Pigment Inkand cut into a panel slightly larger than the Rose Motif.

6. Stamp Climbing Roseonto Moss cardstockwith Juniper Adirondack Pigment Inkand cut slightly larger than stamped Rosewood panel.

7. You are now ready to layer your card panels in this order (bottom to top): Large Green Panel under Punched Rosewood Panel, under Small Green Panel, under Small Rosewood Panel, under Rose Motif Panel. We use the Scotch Tape Runnerto adhere the layers. You can also use Pop Dots(or other mounting foam) under the top two panels to create a raised effect.

8. If you look closely at the card sample, you'll see an Ivory envelope underneath. The inside flap is stamped in pink ink with the Climing Rose. Here are instructons on creating this beautiful detail for your own envelope:

Create a mask to cover all but the inside area you are going to stamp. To do this, take a matching A-2 envelope and use an exacto knife to cut out the area to be stamped on your good envelope. You can now use the cut out envelope as your mask for your good envelope. You can also trace the open area onto a piece of cardstock and cut the opening out to create a new more sturdy mask for future stampings.

Align your mask to match the area inside the envelope you want to stamp. Stamp Climbing Roserepeatedly and lift mask.
